Abuse Awareness & Reporting Training
Increase awareness of abuse and learn how to respond.
Course Description
Abuse Awareness & Reporting Requirements Training is a three-hour, in-person workshop focused on recognizing, preventing, and responding to abuse involving vulnerable adults with disabilities and children and youth with disabilities. Participants build awareness of the prevalence and forms of abuse, learn proactive prevention strategies, and review legal and organizational reporting requirements to ensure immediate safety and appropriate response to suspected abuse. Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellations or rescheduling of course registrations must be received via email to training@vantage.academy at least 7 days prior to date of the course. Requests for cancellations or rescheduling that are received after that time are subject to a cancellation/rescheduling fee equal to the cost of the course.
