Cyber Safety
This program aims to educate individuals about online safety, privacy, and security.
Course Description
Cybersafety Refresher: November 6, 2025 This aims to educate individuals about online safety, privacy, and security. Through interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on activities, Individuals will learn essential skills to protect themselves while using the internet. Introduction to Cyber Safety Understanding Online Risks Identifying common online threats (scams) Explaining the importance of strong passwords Password creation and management tools introduction Protecting Personal Information Social Media Safety Privacy settings on social media platforms Recognizing and avoiding social engineering attempts Setting privacy options on social media accounts Safe Online Communication Email Safety Recognizing suspicious emails and attachments Safe email communication practices Identifying phishing emails Online Etiquette and Responsible Internet Use Ethical Internet Use Recognizing and combating cyberbullying Respectful communication in online forums and social media Responding to online conflicts

Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellations or rescheduling of course registrations must be received via email to training@vantage.academy at least 7 days prior to date of the course. Requests for cancellations or rescheduling that are received after that time are subject to a cancellation/rescheduling fee equal to the cost of the course.
