Course Description

Med Assist replaces the former Medication Administration. ACDS has partnered with SARC to offer the online Med Assist program. SARC's medical administration program meets the criteria set out by the Creating Excellence Together (CET) Standards and is recognized by ACDS for the purposes of CET accreditation. This online course is for Workers who may not have other formal medical training and outlines practical information on best practices in assisting clients with medication. Med Assist is self directed online course workers may complete on their own time consisting of 7 modules that will take approximately three (3) to four (4) hours to complete. It is presented with full narration and meets a variety of learning styles. Each module has a quiz at the end to reinforce learning but also contains a final exam with a minimum score requirement to ensure a high standard of knowledge to safely assist clients with medication. Once registered, workers are provided with an online link to access learning which must be completed within 30 days.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellations or rescheduling of course registrations must be received via email to training@vantage.academy at least 7 days prior to date of the course. Requests for cancellations or rescheduling that are received after that time are subject to a cancellation/rescheduling fee equal to the cost of the course.
